Celebratory Balloon Girl Hand made, Hand Built Clay, Ceramic Tray, Platter in Charlotte NC Home Studio, Ready to Ship, Colorful cute

This is one of my collaboration pieces with my teenage daughter. My platters have gone over really well. I Hand Built this in my home Studio in Charlotte, NC. My daughter is super creative and she added her signature little girl on this piece. I’ve been putting people on my pots for a while and I thought why not have Lily put one of her characters on one. It’s fun. The balloons are a nice touch too. I am just having too much fun. She draw out the design with a tool and then carve out the clay to reveal the image. After firing it once, I hand glaze each dot, and piece of clothing. My influences are Chinese and Mexican Folk Art. Can you tell? This one has a pretty metallic glossy trim and measures about 14” X 4” X 1 1/2”.
